More Than Money Grades 4, 5 and 6 at Thickwood Heights

The earlier students learn how to manage money, the greater their chances of lifelong financial success. That’s why JA has designed the More than Money program. With assistance from volunteers in the local business community, this course teaches elementary students about earning, spending, sharing, and saving money.
In this interactive program, you will teach students:
- the role money plays in everyday life
- how to manage a personal bank account by making deposits and withdrawals
- how to make ethical, personal, and business money management choices
- how to apply the problem-solving and money management skills needed to operate a small business
The standing date for volunteer training is: More Than Money Wednesdays 2:30-4:00 pm
