Who We Are
Founded in 1919, Junior Achievement has become the world’s largest not-for-profit organization, reaching over 10 million students globally. JA Canada inspires the next generation to realize their potential and make a positive impact in their communities. At Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta, we reach over 10,000 students per year with financial literacy programming

What We Do
Through our network of local offices, we collaborate with educators, volunteers, and organizations across Canada to deliver hands-on, immersive learning experiences to youth in grades 3-12, educating them on three key life skills: financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
This is all possible through a partnership between the business community, educators, and volunteers who work together to inspire young people to reach their dreams and tap into their potential. Our approach allows volunteers to deliver our curriculum-based programs while sharing their own experiences and knowledge. The value is in the ‘real world’ perspective.
