About the Role
The Amalgamator works in the Count Room and is responsible for combining, verifying, and recording the final totals of chips and cash after they have been counted. This role ensures accuracy, organization, and compliance with AGLC procedures. No previous casino experience is required — full training and supervision are provided on‑site.
Key Responsibilities
Combine (“amalgamate”) the totals from all counting stations
Verify accuracy of chip and cash counts
Record final totals according to AGLC guidelines
Maintain an organized workflow within the Count Room
Support the Count Room Supervisor and other volunteers as needed
Ensure all materials are handled securely and properly
