Santa’s Workshop- Activity and Craft Station
Festival of Trees will be back at MacDonald Island from November 15th – 17th, 2024, and includes; Ugly Christmas Sweater Party Presented by CEDA, Santa's Workshop, Festival of Trees Gala Presented by Suncor, Christmas Family Fun with Santa Presented by Pembina, Daddy Daughter Sugar Plum Fairy Ball Presented by A.P.E. Maintenance, Super Mom Hero Son Ball presented by United Rentals, along with local entertainment and a weekend-long raffles and silent auction!
As part of the Santa’s Workshop-Activity and Craft Station crew, your role will be to provide a welcoming atmosphere to all guests who are attending Santa’s Workshop. Some of your duties include, but are not limited to:
· Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a positive experience
· Explain craft options (orientation will be provided beforehand)
· Hand out the chosen craft and provide any assistance to the children as needed
· Stamp the attendee’s passport to indicate they have received the craft
· Let children know of the colouring sheets (additional to the craft- no stamp required)
· Clean area and ensure it is tidy after children are done the craft
· Work under the direction of a NLHF Staff member/Volunteer Coordinator
Skills and Qualifications:
· Approachable and friendly personality
· Ability to sit or stand for an extended period
Attributes:
· Dress code is black pants, white shirt/black pants, black shirt, close toed shoes
· Light snacks and refreshments will be provided
