Winter Wonderland- Raffles
Festival of Trees will be back at MacDonald Island from November 15th – 17th, 2024, and includes; Ugly Christmas Sweater Party Presented by CEDA, Santa's Workshop, Festival of Trees Gala Presented by Suncor, Christmas Family Fun with Santa Presented by Pembina, Daddy Daughter Sugar Plum Fairy Ball Presented by A.P.E. Maintenance, Super Mom Hero Son Ball presented by United Rentals, along with local entertainment and a weekend-long raffles and silent auction!
As part of the Winter Wonderland- Raffles crew, you will provide a welcoming atmosphere to all guests who are attending the event. Some of your duties include, but are not limited to:
· Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a positive experience
· Explain raffle options (orientation will be provided beforehand)
· Use handheld interact machine to collect debit and credit payments (orientation will be provided beforehand)
· Collect cash payments and return change (if needed)
· Walk around the event to sell raffle tickets
· Work under the direction of a NLHF Staff member/Volunteer Coordinator
Skills and Qualifications:
· Approachable and friendly personality
· Ability to sit or stand for an extended period
Attributes:
· Dress code is black pants, white shirt/black pants, black shirt, close toed shoes
· Light snacks and refreshments will be provided
