Orientation / Meet & Greet

Nistawoyou Friendship Center is currently looking for volunteers that are looking to do at least 2-3 events or programs a month consistently and want to be apart of our NAFC Volunteer Private User Group where you will have access to our volunteer opportunities before anyone else. 

Examples of these volunteer opportunities are as follows: 
*We are currently looking for specific Volunteers to Deliver Fruit to Schools Every Monday(Must be able to carry boxes that weigh up to 56lbs as you will load them into your vehicle and carry them into the school as well) If this specific opportunity interests you, please let me know. 

Youth Program Co-Ordinator runs programs every Tuesday & Thursday Evening where they do arts and crafts with various age groups. Assisting them in set-up, as well as clean up would be essential. 

We also have a Elders/Seniors Co-Ordinator that runs Tea & Bannock every second week where setting up of food, and interacting with our elders and clean up is needed. 

There are a lot of different Arts & Crafts Programs done throughout the month, such as beading workshops, painting by numbers, dream catcher making etc and we love having volunteers to support our co-ordinators so they are able to interact and work on building stronger relationships with our attendees.
