The Northern Lights Health Foundation’s 7th Annual Hospital Bed Races, presented by Birch Mountain Enterprises LP are a fun and entertaining family event where teams of four race in head-to-head heats while pushing a hospital bed 50 meters, with the fastest team winning the coveted golden bedpan trophy.
As the FIRST AID ATTENDANT, your role is vital in ensuring the safety of participants and the general public if needed. A first aid kit will be provided in the tent. Some of your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Be ready at all times to provide first aid care to people in need at the event
- Call for further emergency medical services if required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Have a current Standard First Aid Level C with CPR/AED ticket
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to sit/stand for an extended period of time

- Close-toed shoes required
- Dress for the weather (wear layers)
