SHIFT TIME
•Please arrive 10 minutes early (on time!)
•All end times are approximate
•Any overlap in shifts allows for how busy the casino is and how quickly we can change over shifts
FREE VOLUNTEER MEAL
•If you are working the late shift you can arrive early to have your meal
•Please keep the total food to approx. $20 and beverage to approx. $5 to help Ni Ten Judo Club make the most money possible
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
•Bring Photo ID
•Be competent in handling money
•Be able to hear, see, speak or have an attendant with these capabilities
•Be alert and observant
•Be able to maneuver in the casino facility for the duration of the shift
•Be able to function in a noisy and possibly smoky environment
•Be able to use Casino Track system for certain positions
•Be able to pass a security clearance check
•Be a minimum of 18 years of age
VOLUNTEER ATTRIBUTES AND CONDUCT
Volunteers MUST:
•Arrive on time for shift
•Sign in at the start of shift and out at the end of shift
•Work the position specified on the Casino Volunteer Schedule
•Wear a name tag while on duty showing the first or common name and position
Volunteers MUST NOT:
•Be paid
•Play casino games or gaming terminals during their group’s casino event
•Consume liquor or illicit substances during their group’s casino event
•Cash cheques or extend credit
•Possess gaming chips

SORTER
The Sorter sorts all cash or chips by denomination
Sorter Duties:
•empties contents of the drop box, and shows open box to camera to ensure that it is empty;
•sorts cash or chips into denominations and places them into money bin with a “Box ID Card,” and passes the bin to the counter;
•witnesses the count by the counter;
•may witness table chip count, if required, at the close.
