We have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our upcoming Food Festival Patio Party!
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join us in various roles to ensure the smooth operation and success of the event. We specifically need volunteers for the following positions:
1. Bar Runner Volunteers:
- Assist in setting up, tidying and organizing the bar area.
- Restock supplies, such as beverages, ice and utensils, as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area throughout the event.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable alcohol service regulations.
2. Food Vendor Help Volunteers:
- Support food vendors with setup, restocking, and clean-up.
- Assist in managing customer lines and ensuring efficient service.
- Provide friendly customer service and answer basic inquiries about food offerings.
- Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at food vendor booths.
3. General Crowd Control/Site Supervising Volunteers:
- Assist in managing crowd flow and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for attendees.
- Provide directions, answer questions, and assist attendees as needed.
- Collaborate with event staff to address any emergencies or concerns that may arise.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Friendly and approachable demeanour with a customer service mindset.
- Availability on July 19th, 2024 for the duration of the event.
