This 5km run/walk on Sunday June 23rd celebrates 'halfway to Christmas'!
Join us and hundreds of Santa’s to spread Christmas in Summer cheer to our community while supporting The Autism Society RMWB's Youth Social-Respite Program.
5km fun run/walk through the Birchwood Trails is just for fun - not timed and there is also a 1km Santa Dash option which is accessible for all (wheelchair friendly).
Volunteer Positions Available:
Event Set-Up Volunteers x 6 (8am to 10am shift)
Set up tables, signs, etc. Unload water bottles from truck.
Participant Registration x 4 (9am to 11am shift)
Sit at the registration table and check in participants
Course Marshall x 10 (9 am to 1 pm shift)
Must be over 18 years old, and a first aid certificate is preferred. Remain on a run route throughout the entirety of the run to provide support to runners if needed.
Water Attendant x 4 (9 am to 1 pm shift)
Hand out water to run participants at the designated table.
Event Take-Down Volunteers x 4 (12 pm to 2 pm shift)
Put away tables, signs, etc. and general clean up.
