It takes one person to be that positive role model in the youth's life that builds that helps to build their resilience.
BGC Fort McMurray implements a drop recreational program for youth ages 10-15 called Go Rec it! Go Rec. It runs every Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Inside Go Rec, they have sports, crafts, VRs, board games, etc.
Because we work so closely with youth, BGC Fort McMurray requires new volunteers to provide a copy of both a criminal record check and a vulnerable sector check. If you require a volunteer letter ( this will help with the cost of the criminal record check.)
