The Emergency Social Services (ESS) Team needs your help! The ESS Team requires volunteers to help simulate evacuees at a Registration Centre, so we can hone our skills and learn how to be more effective when responding to displaced residents in the region. This opportunity is open to volunteers of any age, as long as minors are accompanied by an adult. Companion animals are also welcome!
Volunteers will be asked to arrive at the Quality Inn on the day of the exercise, any time between 1245pm and 2pm, where they will be checked in, provided with a scenario, and guided through the registration process. All volunteers will be credited with 1 hour of volunteerism for their time.
