Open all-day during the ATC Cultural Festival, the Cultural Village features the Ceremonial teepee, Sacred Fire, Elder’s Tent, traditional food preservations, and preparations demonstrations and methods.
Volunteers will assist Elders and Knowledge Keepers with demonstrations. This may include gathering supplies from the supply tent, chopping firewood, getting firewood from the pile, cutting meat, or fish, hauling water, cleaning up after demonstrations, setting up or taking down tables, chairs, and putting them in a storage area, and generally assisting in helping the community share Indigenous Culture with attendees.
Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes, and bring clothing for all weather conditions.
