VOLUNTEERS MUST SIGN UP IN TEAMS/COHORTS - NO MORE THAN 3 PEOPLE PER TRUCK (EXCLUDING SMALL CHILDREN)
If you have more than 3 people interested, please split into two groups/stores. That way, you still get to volunteer together AND you help us cover more ground!
Volunteers will do 3 hour shifts working in teams of three. They will be located at the truck in front of the grocery store. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to volunteer for this position - however, anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Tasks include:
- Collect cash and gift cards (complete donor info for tax receipts if needed)
- Collect and load food into truck bed (ask donors to place into truck bed themselves to minimize touch points)
- Assist with transfer of food into the cube van when it comes around
**With current restrictions there will be safety measures in places for all activities, which will be explained more thoroughly in an email closer to Food Drive, and when you arrive on-site.
