The Board Member is a voting member of the Board of Directors of the Society and appointed in a manner consistent with the bylaws. Board members will work with the Board to help guide the mission of the Society.
Principal duties are to:
- Promote the organization and its mission in the community.
- Volunteer at Society events.
- Attend monthly board meetings.
- Provide input and/or sit on sub-committees.
Assets
Strong communication skills, knowledge of board governance, organizational skills, ability to work as part of a team, and interpersonal skills.
