Volunteer Opportunity: COBS Bread Morning Pickup
Description: COBS Bread Morning Pickup volunteers help collect fresh bread donations from COBS Bread and transport them to our facility. This role plays a key part in reducing food waste and ensuring fresh bakery items are available to individuals and families in our community.
Schedule: Days: Monday to Wednesday
Time: Morning hours (between 8:30am - 9:30am)
Responsibilities:
- Pick up bread donations from COBS Bread
- Safely transport donations to our facility
- Assist with unloading and proper handling of food items
- Communicate with staff upon completion of pickup
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift light to moderate weight items
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning commitments
- Friendly and professional when interacting with store staff
