We are seeking volunteers to man the coat check for the Suncor Christmas party.
Tasks will involve:
- Greeting guests
- Handling personal items of guests with care and storing them securely
- Ensuring guests receive corresponding tickets so they are able to collect their coats and belongings after the party
- Engaging with guests in a friendly manor
- Collecting food and monetary donations on behalf of the Food Bank
- Greeting guests when they come to collect their belongings
Previous experience at coat checks is not required but is an asset. There will be a pre shift orientation, so please arrive at least 15 mins before the shift start time.
Coat Check Attendants allow the Wood Buffalo Food Bank to spread awareness and fundraise at a time of year that is especially difficult for families and individuals facing food insecurity in the region. This event will be fun, engaging and have a genuine positive impact this season.
Children can volunteer but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
