Description

The warehouse orientation session includes a tour of our building and a short review of our safety procedures. Orientation is mandatory for all new volunteers.

Please only select one date.

After orientation is complete you will be able to sign up for shifts in the warehouse.

If you have volunteered before you will still need to complete the orientation. It will include new safety training as well information about volunteer opportunities.

More orientation times will be available soon

Warehouse volunteers are essential for the day to day running of all of our operations here at the Wood Buffalo Food Bank. This opportunity will enable you to provide an immediate and meaningful impact on supporting families and individuals facing food insecurity.

Warehouse volunteer roles can include making food hampers, sorting and stocking food, portioning items, working in the fridge/freezer, cleaning. Some heavy lifting may be required. You will be working with our dedicated team who will assist you in the different jobs you may do during your shift.
