Festival of Trees Gala- Live Auction Assistant
Festival of Trees will be back at MacDonald Island from November 15th – 17th, 2025, and includes; Ugly Christmas Sweater Party Presented by CEDA, Santa's Workshop, Festival of Trees Gala Presented by Suncor, Christmas Family Fun with Santa Presented by Pembina, Daddy Daughter Sugar Plum Fairy Ball Presented by A.P.E. Maintenance, Super Mom Hero Son Ball presented by United Rentals, along with local entertainment and a weekend-long raffles and silent auction!
As part of the Festival of Trees Gala- Live Auction Assistant crew, you will provide a welcoming atmosphere to all guests who are attending the Gala. Some of your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the auctioneer with locating individuals who are bidding by pointing/highlight the area with a light wand
- Work under the direction of a NLHF Staff member/Volunteer Coordinator
Skills and Qualifications:
- Approachable and friendly personality
- Ability to sit or stand for an extended period
- Able to learn and adapt quickly to different needs/tasks
Attributes:
- Dress code is black pants, white shirt/black pants, black shirt, close toed shoes
- Light snacks and refreshments will be provided
**Volunteers must be over the age of 18 for this role.
