Volunteer Opportunity: 50/50 Ticket Sales – YMM Patio Party

The RE/MAX Connect Fort McMurray Food Festival is recruiting volunteers to assist with 50/50 ticket sales during the YMM Patio Party Presented by 20|20 Management, held at Heritage Village in support of Waypoints. This evening event brings the community together through live music, local food, and meaningful engagement.
Role Overview:
As a 50/50 Ticket Sales Volunteer, you will play an important role in the fundraising efforts by promoting ticket sales, processing transactions efficiently, and ensuring a positive and engaging experience for guests.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

Engage with attendees to encourage 50/50 ticket purchases

Explain raffle details and answer guest questions clearly

Handle cash and debit transactions quickly and accurately

Maintain accurate ticket and transaction records

Ensure all raffle activities comply with AGLC rules and regulations

Provide friendly and professional customer service

Coordinate with event staff to ensure raffle operations run smoothly
What You’ll Gain:

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older

Strong customer service and basic math skills are required

Volunteers must be able to process transactions quickly and confidently

Comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended

All raffle activities will be conducted in compliance with AGLC requirements

Refreshments will be provided during volunteer shifts
