On May 4th the Local HERO Foundation will be hosting their annual spring fundraiser event, with this year's theme being M*A*S*H Bash, presented by Suncor. This event promised to blend the humor of the iconic television show M*A*S*H with a tribute to the history and lifesaving impact of our helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) program. As the only HEMS program serving the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, our organization plays a vital role in the wellbeing of our community.
We are looking for volunteers to help throughout the weekend with an array of roles spread out over May 3, 4 and 5. Events like these are not possible without the support of many volunteers. Know that you will be making lifesaving impact while volunteering your time with us. We hope you will join us.
May 3rd will be event set up and will entail physical labor.
