The 2024 Canada Day Parade is taking place on Monday July 1. Join in the fun, and help kick off the Canada Day celebrations by volunteering with the Canada Day Parade.
Position: Volunteer Check-In Assistant (Two Opportunities Available)
Responsibilities:
- Check-in at Volunteer Centre
- Follow all parade safety protocols
- Check in volunteers and fundraising groups
- Distribute safety vests and radios
- Ensure timing of volunteer schedule is followed
- Collect safety vests and radios following the parade
- Sign out volunteers and fundraising groups
- Assist with cleanup and takedown
- Sign-out at Volunteer Centre
