Through a mission to "ensure communities continually grow more inclusive, and embody a sustainable source of healthy living and enduring prosperity for residents, newcomers, and visitors alike" the RMWB is committed to create opportunities for the community to achieve a sense of belonging.
Wood Buffalo is a region rich with history and is home to many residents from all over the world. Recreation and Culture promotes cultural opportunities, activities, and events that celebrate our local diversity in areas of heritage, public art and culture.
