Responsibilities: Santa needs your help to ensure the safety of spectators along the parade route! Santa's Float Walkers will maintain a walking pace alongside the Municipal parade float while creating a safe distance between floats and spectators. Santa's Float Walkers ensure that spectators remain on sidewalks and do not crowd the float.
**Please note- this is for Santa's Float Only. All other entries must provide their own safety walkers as per the Parade Rules & Regulations***
Volunteer Orientation Session will occur on November 30, 2022. Meeting request will be sent upon registration.
About the Santa Claus Parade:
The Santa Claus Parade returns to Franklin Ave. on Saturday, Dec. 3 2022 at 6 p.m.
The Santa Claus Parade is an annual event coordinated by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. The parade will start on Riedel Street, travel north on Franklin Avenue and end on Main Street. Registered floats will marshal along Clearwater Drive.
As a Volunteer, you'll be in the Parade!
