Volunteers are responsible for helping the Volunteer Coordinator with checking volunteers in and out for their shifts. These volunteers will assign tasks to volunteers, and assign a Reliever to cover scheduled breaks. Must be comfortable doing a variety of tasks and standing for extended periods of time if required. Location of Volunteer Opportunity: Operations Tent, other areas as needed.
As a volunteer you are committing to:
- Reading and comprehending the information presented in the online volunteer orientation (link provided in registration confirmation email). Contacting the Volunteer Coordinator for clarification if you have questions or do not understand a component(s) of the orientation
- Arriving on-time and completing the assigned shift,
- Being a courteous and respectful representative of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, and
- Completing the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement provided
