Sustainival is a sustainability education organization with a mission to engage and educate the public on the wide range of topics within sustainability, from the environment to arts and culture, to social sustainability and beyond. We achieve our mandate to educate and engage through large-scale events which feature interactive displays of the power of sustainable energy and the future of innovation. The most well-known activation at a Sustainival event is the world’s first green midway!

Sustainival is an exciting and unique festival for all ages! Each Sustainival event brings in a full-scale midway powered on renewable energy, showcases how Albertans can work together to build a more sustainable future, and raise awareness on the environmental impact of one’s everyday actions, all while having an incredible amount of fun!
