Who We Are
Re-established in 2013, we are a community based committee providing off ramps from the traditional criminal Justice system in collaboration with the Solicitor General and RCMP.
Restorative Justice is an internationally recognized paradigm that allows us to repair harm at the community level, a process that Fort McMurray Youth Justice operates by.
What We Do
Our longest standing program is Extrajudicial Measures, operated under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Beginning in 2019 we began a Restorative Justice program that offers the opportunity for alternative measures without formal charges.
