Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo

The Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo (MCA) was established in 1985 to support cultural groups and newcomers through programs and events, and to foster cross-cultural awareness and understanding.

Vision & Mission

• To encourage ethno-cultural groups to develop and preserve their individual cultures and communities within the Canadian context

• To promote and encourage inclusive multiculturalism at all levels in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo 

• To facilitate communication between individuals, groups, industry, businesses and government with respect to ethno-cultural groups within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo 

• To promote equality, social justice, inclusion and institutional change
