FuseSocial's NorthStar Ford Wood Buffalo Volunteer Centre strengthens our community by supporting volunteerism within the social profit sector.

We are passionate about bridging the gap between volunteers and volunteer opportunities and supporting the organizations that utilize the power of volunteers. We host monthly Volunteer Manager Roundtables as a way for volunteer managers and coordinators to come together and share ideas, network, and discuss challenges and triumphs. We know volunteering creates connection within a community and we are excited to enhance the volunteer experience in Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo.

The NorthStar Ford Wood Buffalo Volunteer Centre’s platform, WBVolunteers.ca, provides a one-stop-shop for local volunteer opportunities and an effective and efficient way for organizations to recruit and retain volunteers.

Additionally, our partnership with the RMWB’s Emergency Social Services program allows for increased efficiency in mobilizing volunteers in the event of a local emergency. Individuals can opt-in to be part of the ESS volunteer team upon creating a profile on WBVolunteers.ca.
