Through a mission of delivering excellence every day, the RMWB will seek to achieve the vision of a vibrant, sustainable region we are proud to call home. Four strategic priorities are identified in the plan, along with actions to achieve progress on these priorities and key performance indicators to measure success:
The RMWB Strategic Plan is a map to the future of our region; it provides focus and clarity on the direction the RMWB will follow to achieve the vision. The plan also provides a transparent and accessible mechanism that encourages citizens to understand the strategic priorities and track progress over the next four years as we work together towards a vibrant, sustainable region we are proud to call home.
Wood Buffalo is a region rich with history and is home to many residents from all over the world. Recreation and Culture promotes cultural opportunities, activities, and events that celebrate our local diversity in areas of heritage, public art and culture.
Throughout the year we host our signature events and programs. We continually need volunteer support to continue to make these a success. Our annual events and programs are;
