Caregivers Alberta

Who We Are

Caregivers Alberta was started by a small group of family caregivers, for caregivers. If you provide care to someone due to illness, disability, addiction, or aging, you are a caregiver!

What We Do

Caregivers Alberta empowers Albertans who give care to family and friends by: providing education, supporting caregivers' well-being, and advocating for public policy on the issues that affect caregivers.

We provide peer support programs, help with navigating healthcare and other resources, a referral directory, educational webinars, and much more.

We also work with healthcare professionals on the concept of caregiver-centered care, and with employers to help them build caregiver-friendly workplaces.
