What We Do
The RRC operates recreation facilities located in the Wood Buffalo Region of Alberta. This includes MacDonald Island Park (MIP) located in Fort McMurray, which features Suncor Community Leisure Centre, the Miskanaw Golf Club and Shell Place. MacDonald Island Park has the venues and experience to host large sporting events, concerts, banquets, family programming, camps, and a variety of other community collaborations.
