PLEASE NOTE: ALL Volunteers MUST be in good health and not be showing ANY signs of COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who is sick or has returned from international travel. This is crucial to the safety of everyone.
*If you respond to a shift, check your email regularly as this situation unfolds we may change the length of your shift but start times are solidified so please show up on time.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with evacuees and abide by all procedures to respect social distancing
- Support Registration Process by completing forms, providing information and sharing resources
- Maintain security by patrolling area, monitoring activity
- Physical movement, running registration sheets to and from command centre
Skills Required:
- Communicating, filling out registration forms
- Organizing, walking, standing for long periods of time
- Dress in layers with warm clothing as we are OUTSIDE
- Upon your arrival, we will confirm you have registered with WBVolunteers.ca
- No previous experience with Emergency Social Services is necessary.
