The Emergency Social Services (ESS) Team is hosting a functional exercise for October 26, 2024, and we're looking for volunteers from the community to act as "evacuees". Volunteers will be asked to attend the mock Registration Centre where they will receive 'Evacuee Scenario' cards which will lead them through the various Registration Center supports tables.
ESS needs volunteers to participate in the above exercise to make sure it is as realistic as possible and so that the team can practice and be better prepared for any future emergency situations that we may be faced with. This is a family friendly opportunity, but at least one adult (over 18 years of age) must accompany any minors.
