VOLUNTEERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO SIGN UP IN GROUPS, IT'S MORE FUN WITH A FRIEND!
Please show up to Save On Foods Downtown 5 minutes before your shift start for orientation :)
Volunteers will do 3 hour shifts working in teams of three. They will be located at the truck in front of the grocery store. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to volunteer for this position - however, anyone 14 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Tasks include:
- Hand out bags and needs lists
- Collect cash and gift cards (complete donor info for tax receipts if needed)
- Collect and load food into truck bed
- Assist with transfer of food into the cube van when it comes around
