Please read the following information carefully before registering for this shift;
We are now located in our new PERMANENT location - 10010 Centennial Drive! Please enter through the back door marked with our logo.
This volunteer must have their own truck/van. Volunteer may bring a passenger with to assist them if they would like. A letter of acknowledgement will be provided to the volunteer allowing them to empty bins at the stores.
Volunteer will report first to the Food Bank Warehouse for orientation and to pick up your letter. You will then rotate between grocery stores uptown (Save On Foods Stonecreek, Michelle's Independant Timberlea, Save On Foods Thickwood, and Sobey's Thickwood) and downtown (Superstore, Sobey's Clearwater, Save On Foods downtown, FreshCo) picking up items from the donation bins and transporting them back to the Food Bank.
YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY - PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP IF SLOTS ARE FULL.
If you are completing Community Service or Student Credit hours with us, you MUST introduce yourself to the Warehouse staff member beforehand. This ensures your hours are properly tracked, and any required paperwork is signed.
