Warehouse Volunteer

Warehouse volunteers are essential to the day-to-day operations of the Wood Buffalo Food Bank. Every task completed helps keep our warehouse running efficiently so we can continue providing food and support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout the Wood Buffalo region.

You'll work alongside our dedicated staff, who will provide guidance and support throughout your shift.

You can register  only for one shift a day. 

Volunteer duties may include stocking shelves, organizing the warehouse, portioning food, bagging fresh produce, working in the cooler or freezer, cleaning windows and floors, and assisting with other operational tasks that keep our facility safe, organized, and ready to serve our community. Some heavy lifting may be required. You will have to be able to speak & understand english to volunteer at the warehouse for your safety and others this is a requirement. It is also important to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes for your safety. If you are unable to do either you will require a translator to be at the facility with you.
