The Northern Lights Health Foundation’s 6th Annual Hospital Bed Races, presented by Birch Mountain Enterprises LP are a fun and entertaining family event where teams of four race in head-to-head heats while pushing a hospital bed 50 meters, with the fastest team winning the coveted golden bedpan trophy.
As one of the MASCOTS, some of your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Dress up in a special costume
- Hype up the teams that are set to race
- Hype up the crowd (get them to start cheering, clapping, etc)
- Take photos with participants and community members
- Work under the direction of the Volunteer Coordinator/Assistant and a NLHF staff member
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to entertain crowds
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
