Volunteer Opportunities include:
Set-up
You will be helping set up folding tables and chairs, placing tablecloths on each table. We have two tents to erect. There are different activity stations so you may assist with paying out materials/supplies at these tables.
Popcorn Table
You will be making bags and bags of popcorn with our popcorn machine. We will show you how this works. We supply the machine, the bags and the popcorn.
Sign-Making
You will be helping people make their own marching signs. We have markers, large poster board, sticks and tape. We also have small child size signs.
Tealights and Glowsticks
You will be handing out glowstick bracelets and tealights to marchers/participants. During the speeches you may have to walk around handing these out. At the end of the march you will be collecting these.
Refreshments
We have coffee, tea, apple cider and hot chocolate for marchers, plus cookies. You will make sure that the area is clean, wiped of spills.
Tear-down
As soon as the march begins, it’s go time. We will remove all the tablecloths, fold chairs and tables and pile them, getting them ready for pick up from the rental company.
