Our partner agency, Support Through Housing Team, are looking for 1-2 Volunteers who are able to lift and move furniture out of the second floor of an apartment building. The furniture will be transported to a new address in Timberlea (this will be given to you when you arrive for your shift) where they are re-housing their clients. It would be helpful if volunteers could come with a truck but it is not necessary - they have 1 truck for sure. Volunteers only need to stay until all of the larger furniture is moved. They do not have to stay until the apartment is empty so your volunteer shift may end early!
STHT can provide masks and gloves and will have hand sanitizer on site that is available for volunteers. Please bring your own, if you have them.
