As one of the BED RUNNERS, you play a vital role with ensuring the behind the scenes of the races run smoothly. Some of your duties include, but are not limited to: · Collect the beds from a finished race and quickly bring them to the Pit Crew located near the start line (orientation will be provided prior to the start of the shift) · Return to the finish line and await the end of the next race · Work under direction of the Volunteer Coordinator/Assistant and a NLHF staff member *This position requires the volunteer to have some physical stamina as the beds need to be returned quickly in order for the Pit Crew to inspect the beds prior to the start of the next race.
