Sustainival Alberta produces the world’s first green-powered midway and festival celebrating all things green! We are an educational non-profit organization with a focus on energy literacy, clean-technologies, and building sustainable communities. Since 2011, more than one and a half million festival-goers have experienced the exhilaration of Sustainival, while gaining a hands-on awareness of the potential of clean technologies and renewable energy.

Enter the biodiesel GRAVITRON!
A full-scale Sustainival event runs on approximately 1 Megawatt of power. That’s enough power to supply a small village of approximately 900 homes. Sustainival is powered entirely by renewable energy: solar, wind, and biodiesel produced from waste vegetable oil.
