United Way of Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo believes in Community Impact, a movement towards creating meaningful, long-term improvements to the quality of life in Wood Buffalo. Our goal is to improve lives through education, social innovation, and by engaging our community, giving our agencies the tools to succeed. Our vision is of Wood Buffalo being a healthy and strong community where social issues are solved. We operate out of a shared social profit space called The Redpoll Centre, organize an annual fundraising campaign, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to increase capacity in the sector and in the region.
